Molly is a Malta-Poo ( A combination Maltese and Poodle). She was a gift to me from my good friend Lou Jahde, pictured here.
We got her when she was six weeks old!
This is when she graduated from the dog training program at PetsMart! She was a total ragamuffin! It took a long time for her to grow into her good looks.
CASE IN POINT! As you can see Molly has gotten a lot bigger here, but is comically awkward and very skinny-looking!! I loved this weird picture of her on the patio chair looking in at us so much I used it as a screensaver on my iPhone.
She started filling out a bit and looking cuter as she got to age 3 and 4 and 5…
And now she is a a full blown star with her Bichon cut!!
She turned 6 years old this month – shares the same birthday month as me!
She is an oddball, but a wonderfully loving and loyal companion.

Hi Margie! I have no idea how a Ii stumbled onto your website; but I stopped when I saw the title “Model at 16”. I, too was a model at 16 and, while I am 4 years younger, (Lincoln High, class of ’59 in SF) there were enough small similarities for me to read on. I too had a relationship with House of Charm but it was a class for $90 that taught us pretty much what you mentioned. Afterwards, I did a bit of modeling for them, and won a couple of awards for my designs, and then I was accepted into the Macys Teen Board and, through that, did some modeling there. I was basically a platform model, fashion shows—there were many back then, and then at 18, I went to work full time as a designers/fashion show model at Koret of California. We did a lot of platform shows at Union Square and I modeled for buyers who visited our offices at 611 Mission Street. I started college in ’61 at ASU, and that was the end of my short-lived modeling career. I worked for J Magnin in its heyday, in Desiigners, Menswear (a precursor to Wilkes) and in the Wolves Den at Christmas along with Suzanne Summers and Pat Montandon. All so much fun. Later, I finally got serious and entered the securities industry and stayed 20 years and retired to Marin. Lots in between, of course. It was just fun to read a resume with so many similarities to my own. Email if you wish, but do it direct. I don’t seem to receive Instagram messages.
